The Las Vegas Sun reports that House of 1000 Corpses hit #10 in the top ten for ticket sales. This is very good news after so many people giving House a bad wrap. Ah, the numbers speak for themselves, don't they. =)

 April 18, 2003 - House Review II

I just returned from seeing House for the second time. How can anyone not like this movie?! Of course one needs to have a concept of the dark side of human nature, for w/o that you are going to be lost. An understanding, and some experience, of/with the dark side is mandatory in comprehending the character development. My guess is that "reviewers" that gave House a bad wrap do not have the open-mindedness to grasp the intent of the movie. I'd say they led sheltered little lives and still drive daddy's car. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Thanks, Mr. Zombie, for relieving my horror movie dry spell.

 April 17, 2003 - House Reviewed

I saw House of 1000 Corpses on Saturday and I fucking loved it! Below is my short and to the point review that I posted at the Rob Zombie - House of 1000 Corpses Forum.

Right from the get-go, House captured my attention and never let it go. I loved this fucking movie! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! The characters were excellent and the plot grabs you by the nuts and keeps you enthralled throughout the entire movie. The movie takes on a documentary role for a bit by describing... well I'll let you see it for yourself. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! If you like GORE then this movie is screaming your name! Shock value rates high on HOUSE. I really missed the proverbial horror music that lead you to the climax and finish you off with the sharp shrill at the climax. It would have done a lot for the tension aspect of the movie. The acting was fucking brilliant! Who the fuck are these people?! I seen a few of them in other movies but never in the roles Rob put them in. This demonstrates Rob's casting abilities. Again, Brilliant! I hope we get to see a lot more of HOUSE. Will the next movie be called "HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES II" or "HOUSE OF 1004 CORPSES"? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! HOUSE is worth every corrupt penny you own! I highly recommend this movie to any ZOMBIE fan and to horror fans in general. It will take your mind for a ride and leaving you wanting to see it again and again. I'm going back to see it again next w/e. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Sex Psycho 666
